Sorry for the lame episode title, but a little negative SEO is about all I can do here…
Anyway, Jessica is down in Australia, but that doesn’t stop us from punching out another episode. We recap the Northwest and Denver shows, talk about some upcoming events, vent about the awful FedEx Freight ham handed delivery, and discuss other goings on in pinball. Oh, and face #4 is finally officially announced for Mount Plungemore.

I work in transportation and am experienced in shipping electronics – using a low-cost LTL carrier like FedEx Freight unfortunately can frequently result in these types of situations. You’ve done all you can in notating damage at the time of delivery on the BOL with the driver and filing a claim immediately, but only paying out half of total damages (and dealing with any damages for a NIB pin, to boot) is pretty lame. If you haven’t already in the process of filing your claim – make sure that concealed damage is reported! Most LTL carriers only give 3-5 business days to do this but the receiver (you) usually does have an opportunity to file concealed damage beyond the packaging damage reported to the driver/on paperwork at the time of delivery.
